What is a Christmas tree skirt?

A Christmas tree skirt or Christmas tree blanket is placed at the base of the Christmas tree to conceal the tree stand and cables. In the past, Christmas tree skirts were used to catch needles and candle wax. Today, they serve both a practical and decorative purpose, adding a stylish finishing touch to your Christmas tree decorations.

Christmas tree skirts are not absolutely necessary, but they complete the overall look of your Christmas decorations. They provide a classy backdrop for the presents and hide the tree stand and cables, which are usually not a pretty sight. If you are using a real tree, they can also be used to catch the needles so you don't have to constantly sweep under the tree.

An alternative to a Christmas tree blanket is a tree stand cover. This decorative item essentially acts as a collar for your tree stand. Tree stand covers encase the tree stand, with the individual parts being able to be hinged together, making it easier to assemble and store. There are several options for materials to choose from, such as wood, wicker and metal. Instead of a Christmas tree blanket, you can also use a beautifully decorated tree stand, but make sure that the base of the tree trunk fits into the stand. Wicker and wood-look tree stands are also good choices, as are home items such as blankets and throws.

What size Christmas tree do I need?

The size of the Christmas tree skirt depends on the height and width of the tree and your personal taste.

As a rule of thumb , the Christmas tree cover should be at least 15 cm longer than the diameter of the tree at its widest point.

  • Our Large Christmas tree blanket is suitable for small and medium-sized fir trees up to a height of 200 cm and a diameter of 130 cm.

  • Our XLarge Christmas tree cover is suitable for larger Christmas trees up to a height of approx. 240 cm and a diameter of 150 cm.

Nachdem ich einen Bericht im WDR hierüber gesehen habe war mein Interesse geweckt. Meine offene Frage wurde umgehend und hilfreich beantwortet und die Abwicklung der Bestellung erfolgte schnell und reibungslos. Der treemova sieht aus wie abgebildet und fühlt sich qualitativ gut an. Da ich ihn aber Anfang Januar gekauft habe, kann ich zur Funktionalität noch keine Angabe machen. Ich bin trotzdem froh ihn für das nächste Weihnachten schon mal hier zu haben.

Habe diesen Baumbeutel für meinen künstlichen Baum zur aufbewahrung gekauft. An dem Baum habe ich meine Lichterketten dran und brauche diese nicht mehr abzufummeln. Damit nichts beschädigt wird und leichter zu trans ist habe ich mich für diesen Beutel entschieden und bin voll und ganz zufrieden. Schnell geliefert und sehr gut verarbeitet.

Genau, was wir gesucht haben!

Wir haben lange darüber nachgedacht, wie wir unseren Baum nadelfrei zur Straße bekommen und dann sah ich zufällig im WDR einen Beitrag und habe direkt bestellt. Für den nächsten Baum haben wir zeitgleich eine nachhaltige Alternative zum Plastiknetz.
