Christmas tree blanket & transport cover for fir trees

A Christmas tree skirt or Christmas tree blanket is placed at the base of the Christmas tree to conceal the tree stand and cables. In the past, Christmas tree skirts were used to catch needles and candle wax. Today, they serve both a practical and decorative purpose, adding a stylish finishing touch to your Christmas tree decorations.

Christmas tree skirts are not absolutely necessary, but they complete the overall look of your Christmas decorations. They provide a classy backdrop for the presents and hide the tree stand and cables, which are usually not a pretty sight. If you are using a real tree, they can also be used to catch the needles so you don't have to constantly sweep under the tree.

An alternative to a Christmas tree blanket is a tree stand cover. This decorative item essentially acts as a collar for your tree stand. Tree stand covers encase the tree stand, with the individual parts being able to be hinged together, making it easier to assemble and store. There are several options for materials to choose from, such as wood, wicker and metal. Instead of a Christmas tree blanket, you can also use a beautifully decorated tree stand, but make sure that the base of the tree trunk fits into the stand. Wicker and wood-look tree stands are also good choices, as are home items such as blankets and throws.

The size of the Christmas tree skirt depends on the height and width of the tree and your personal taste.

As a rule of thumb , the Christmas tree cover should be at least 15 cm longer than the diameter of the tree at its widest point.
